We had a fantastic last weekend of April. Many here in on the coast of British Columbia, were overjoyed to have our first taste of summer heat and sun this past weekend! And oh boy did we have fantastic trips on both our semi-enclosed vessel and zodiac vessel!
Friday, was a triple threat day with Bigg's Killer Whales, one of our 1st Humpback Whales of the season and a Grey Whale! Both boats were out and were close to one of our favorite spots, Active Pass. Saturday was another great day with more Humpback Whales and more Bigg's Killer Whales and even a river Otter!
The Humpbacks were spotted in their usual spot, right in the middle of the Strait of Georgia and it was fantastic to see them back again this year.
We got some fantastic photos taken by passenger Aloke Surin! Check them out below!

These two days had such gorgeous weather and an extraordinary variety of marine life, everyone just lived in the moment. Sometimes that's the best way to view wildlife, is to sit back, relax, take it all in instead of worrying about the capturing the Instagram shot.
On Sunday, the sun disappeared but the whales didn't! We had a short whale watching tour as the Killer Whales were so close to our home harbour of Steveston, south of Vancouver.
Another "Transient" Killer Whale T-party !
Check out the photos below of some the Orcas we spotted on this trip!
